Amy Carter-Ishmael » A New Barn

In 2024, I drove to the East through the hilly terrain and mountains.  Along the way, no matter the state I drove through, I would take photos or drive around at times to make notes on compositions and this was from a rural area.  I was impressed because they had errected a new barn and many other areas had old falling down barns, which I find is often what other artists paint.

My dad grew up in a rural area, and told me a story of how an uncle allowed him to drive the tractor, and he drove it through the brand new barn.

My father said, he never lost his temper.  Amazing!
